The Black Student Union (BSU) is an organization that advocates for the needs of students at Jefferson while empowering, teaching, discussing and exploring the Black experience. BSU serves as a liaison between students of African descent and other minorities.
Latin Student Union
The Latin Student Union (LSU) mission is to support Latinx culture on campus and together build a welcoming environment where we can discuss our similarities, differences, goals, and especially, educate students about our cultures.
DLI Parent Advisory Board
The DLI Parent Advisory Board (PAB) is a group of DLI (Dual Language Immersion) parents advocating for and supporting our DLI families and teachers. Our schools are fortunate to be a part of the Dual Language Immersion program and also to have a strong group like the PAB to help continue the program’s growth and success. The PAB has worked hard over the years to move the program forward and to foster the family-like atmosphere within DLI.
Each grade has 1-2 PAB representatives that keep in close contact with the parents, teachers, schools and the district. The DLI PAB typically meets quarterly and plans 1-2 events each year. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions. Email: jeffersondlipab@gmail.com
